SSI MONITOR
Introduction
SSI MONITOR is a web-based intranet application which has been designed to automate collection of patient data from surgery, laboratory and patient administration systems. The core data provides details of the operations, procedures and infections for a patient during any period of care.
The alerts, reports, statistics and analytical tools provided by this system assist in optimal delivery of care, mandatory reporting and auditing of surgical procedures.
This module has been designed to be fully customisable so that it can be tailored to your specific requirements with regard to SSI reporting. The flexibility of export formats also enables the accurate and efficient submission of surveillance data to local, state and national reporting bodies. SSI MONITOR is able to report automatically already to NHSN (US), HPA (England) and HPS (Scotland).
